where do i live?
panama?
bangladesh?
today it rained (or monsooned, rather) and it felt like i was in the tropics.
which is nice. but so strange. i don’t remember such tropical monsoons in new york city when i was growing up. i remember snowstorms and polar bears and streets paved with peanut butter.
but what a rain storm we had today…i went out and recorded it cos it sounded so nice.
i guess i’m avoiding the real issue which is that it’s almost my birthday. in fact, by the time this ends up on the site it will be my birthday.
thanks everyone for the nice happy birthday wishes.
that’s very, very nice of you.
and to those of you who are still in the bloom of their youth, go out and enjoy yourself before you end up all rotten and old and decrepit like me.
oops, did i spell ‘decrepit’ incorrectly? i guess that one’s ability to spell is the first thing to go.
as far as birthday presents…i could use some ‘depends’ and maybe a time share in a condo in florida…and maybe some ‘metamucil’. and a subscription to the ‘aarp’ newsletter.
ha ha ha. i’m not old. just not, uh, particularly young anymore…sigh.
but i’m younger than i’ll be tomorrow. so i should probably squander my youth while i still have it, right?
