i just got back from a few days in southern utah (at 'best friends animal sanctuary' and the amangiri resort). so, pictures (of 2 of my favorite things: dogs and a part of the earth that looks amazingly like a different planet).

i'd write more, but i just got home and i'm very. very tired (as much as i love southern utah i can't admit to being a huge fan of driving 9 hours each way).

p.s-it's also really hard to take pictures of vastness (landscape, not dogs..). so these are the best i could do. i tried to take pictures of zion national park and escalante, etc, but i just couldn't fit them into/onto my camera.
