i went to a benefit dinner at the american museum of natural history last night, and then went and had a few drinks with rene risque et. al. after their show.
the amnh is possibly one of my favorite places in the world.
if you’ve never been there you have to go.
it’s so big and vast and interesting, and the dioramas are some of the coolest things that i’ve ever seen.
if they ever try to get rid of or replace the dioramas i will go on a hunger strike.
go to the amnh, see the giant whale and the dinosaurs.
marvel at the dioramas.
gasp at the butterflies.
stand in awe of/at the giant columns in the lobby.
it’s such a cool place.
i think i first went there when i was 6 months old.
and it hasn’t changed much since then, which is great.
