i just got home from the moveon/moby/teany bakesale.
thanks to everyone who came out and supported the cause and thanks to the volunteers who helped us set everything up and thanks to the people who contributed all of the cupcakes…
it was a big success, with al franken and al sharpton and david cross and janeane garafalo and rocco dispiritu and john cameron-mitchell and myself and others selling cupcakes and baked-goods, and i think that we raised a decent amount of money for moveon.
all in all i think that around 1,500 people showed up from noon until 3pm making the event a big success.
and i have a great picture of me with a bird on my shoulder standing between al franken and al sharpton.
