back from l.a, and i just returned from a ‘bring them home’ fundraiser at the hammerstein ballroom.
cindy sheehan is tall. and a commanding speaker. and she looks disconcertingly like christine todd whitman.
l.a was great. sunny and warm and filled with food.
everytime i go to l.a i’m tempted to move there, but then i remember that
a: i don’t have a drivers license,
and
b: if i moved to l.a i would become even more narcisstic and self-involved.
so it’s nyc for me, where i can be a small pedestrian fish in a big pond.
i think that the ‘hotel moby live’ dvd is coming out soon.
it has live footage and videos and remixes and mr fish.
all on one convenient dvd. or two dvd’s. i’m not sure.
i know nothing. the man keeps me in the dark.
how are you?
how was your weekend?
hello?
oh, i’ve been watching ‘lost’. i wish there were more monsters.
i have to say that i really don’t care about the interpersonal drama between the soap-opera stars(aka-characters in the show).
so, my suggestion to the writers/producers of ‘lost’ for future seasons: less people, more monsters. less normal banter, more crazy weirdness.
we can get soap opera drama anywhere, but crazy monsters are rare and should be given more time.
oh, ‘nightshift’ is great. the russian vampire movie. i love monster/vampire/monster movies and tv shows. what’s not to love?
ok, i’ll go back and watch some more of ‘lost’ and hope that the interpersonal soap-opera drama is drawing to a close and that it’ll get back to monsters and weirdness.
