just arrived in frankfurt.
thanks to everyone for coming out to the astoria last night.
i still remember my first time playing the astoria. it was 1991 and a pirate radio station were having a party and i was invited to perform one song (‘go’). and i remember thinking to myself, ‘this venue is so big! i could never play a venue like this on my own…’ and now the astoria is considered a small venue for me. it’s considered an intimate venue and a good place for a small ‘warm up’ show. that’s odd. in my mind it’s still a big venue.
and last night was fun.
and thanks to all of the board members for hanging out and drinking beer after the show.
i hope that you all made it home safely.
