1. what’s your favorite christmas memory?

probably last christmas, actually. we had christmas at teany and we ended up making food and drinks for about 30 friends and family members. it was snowing and beautiful and throughout the day friends and family kept popping in to say hi.

2. what’s your favorite christmas song?

‘o holy night’

3. what’s your favorite seasonal teany dish/drink?

either the vegan pumpkin pie or the hot mulled apple cider.

4. what’s the deal with x-mas?

i’ve never been able to figure this out, either.

5. what’s the coolest thing to do in ny around christmas?

just about anything, actually, although the standard things like skating in central park and walking up and down 5th avenue in the snow tend to be pretty great. and it’s always nice to do something sort of glamorous in nyc around christmas. you know, the sort of black-tie event that involves drinking champagne at lincoln center sort of thing.

6. will you ever do a christmas tune/cd?

i did one a few years ago on tarquin records called ‘christmas in connecticut’.

spongebob or rugrats? spongebob.
vodka or scotch? vodka. not in excess. but scotch makes my mouth taste funny in the morning.
slides or swings? both, depending. a good slide is terriffic. same goes for a good swingset.
taxi or subway? taxi for convenience, subway for anthropology and interesting smells.
ziggy stardust or thin white duke? thin whiteduke. ‘station to station’ is my favorite bowie record.
dragons or faries? fairies wearing boots riding dragons. sort of like the black sabbath song.
ants or spiders? mmm…both. spiders are far scarier. just wait until ‘the return of the king’. that’s going to be a scary spider.
has he ever seen the rocky horror picture show and if so did he like it? yeah, i love the ‘rocky horror picture show’, actually.
has he ever met tim curry? no, and apparently he won’t talk about rocky horror.
does he like cartoons? yes.
if so which ones? family guy. simpsons. ren and stimpy. beavis and butthead. maus. anything by eric drooker.
what tv show was he brought up on? star trek & the muppet show.
if he was president how would he solve the worlds problems? by making decisions based upon the well-being of individuals as opposed to the well-being of the special interest lobbying group.
was there ever a music video that he didn’t enjoy doing? yes. the video for ‘hymn’. but making music videos is, in general, fun. especially in warm places.

louise williams started a post called ‘answer mobys stupid questions here’ which is terriffic.
i’ve learned more in the responses to that post than i learned in all of high-school.
maybe that’s because in high-school i was addicted to pcp and i spent my time thwarting the free-masons and the rosicrucians who were tryingto steal the fillings in my teeth so that they could send messages to the saucer people.

in the future i will try to come up with more stupid questions, cos the answers to these stupid questions have been very informative.
