committee told us was wrong about wmds in iraq
abc-news-
the former chief weapons inspector in iraq has told a us senate committee “”we were probably all wrong”” about iraq’s weapons of mass destruction (wmd).

dr david kay says it is unlikely weapons will ever be found in iraq.

he recently stepped down from leading the search for the missing weapons, which were the bush administration’s chief justification for the war in iraq.

dr kay says he does not believe iraq had a wmd program.
“”it’s highly unlikely that there were large stockpiles of deployed militarised chemical and biological weapons there,”” he said.

dr kay has blamed the bush administration for the false information circulated about iraq’s weapons capabilities.
