i have a request to make:
as i’ve said before, i value these boards as a place where anyone can feel free to post anything.
i promise, insofar as i can do so, that no one will be censored here. but i do ask that these boards be a civil place where people can express their opinions without the fear of being slandered or insulted. please remember that it’s possible for people to disagree with one another and still be respectful towards each other.
everyone gets a bit contentious at times, that’s just human nature. but no one should ever be made to feel bad or dumb for posting something that someone else disagrees with.
a good debate and a good dialectic are healthy things. name calling and slander are not.
i really want this website to be a place where everyone feels welcome, be they a vegan moby fan or a meat eating moby hater, be they a 12 year old student or a 50 year old businesswoman.
