Ew. Ew. Ew.
Politics.
Hillary clinton is claiming a lead in the popular vote.
Er, uh, what?
She's claiming the lead because she got more votes in florida and michigan.
Ew she's gross.
See, neither candidate campaigned in florida or michigan, and obama's name wasn't even on the ballot in michigan.
So she's claiming a lead based on a vote that obama wasn't even a part of?
Does she think we don't know the truth?
That We're just dim-witted rubes who are going to take her at her word?
She has pretty much effectively squandered any support and good will she ever had with democrats, at least the ones I know.
Her desperation is divisive and repugnant. If she can't win honestly(which she can't), she's going to try to win either through dishonesty or undemocratic loopholes.
She should just go away.
Such a shame, cos she was actually a good senator.
Next she's going to start inventing states, "no! I should be president cos I won the caucus in, uh, west dakota!"
Or maybe she'll claim that she should get extra votes from pet owners or people with bicycles?

Her political signs dabbling streets SCREAM her name with relentless self-righteousness. i own both pets & bicycles and i ain't votin fer nobodyz cos my belief in polymatics has gone with the winds...
Do the citizens & registered voters of the United States REALLY have a choice in the matter?
Do you honestly believe we're a country and not an *ahem* idea /or/ corporation?
(fyi:: those are rhetorical question marks ;)
Hillary is winning
You are wrong, Moby - Hillary Clinton is winning the popular vote because, frankly, those who voted in Michigan and Florida should be counted. These people had no say in their state party's finagling with when the primary vote was held and it is the height of poor form to disenfranchise voters due to the idiocy of their party leaders. That the Obama camp or anyone else would even suggest that these votes don't count is simply vulgar. Right now Hillary's lead is by a mere 100,000 votes - a "fart in the wind," as some would say. Still, if she maintains that lead, she deserves the nomination. If Obama regains his lead, he deserves the nomination. This assumes, of course, that the superdelegates will be smart enough to follow the popular vote totals, rather than acting like the rightly reviled electoral college and tallying delegate totals (which don't even reflect individual state populations).
Hillary has every right to stay in
Obama and others chose to keep their name off the ballot in Michigan to appease Iowa. Only Dodd and Clinton were on the ballot---if you liked Obama, Biden, or anyone else---you could simply mark "other."
Hillary received more votes then "other" (other being Obama, Biden, Richardson, etc) in Michigan. That's a pretty good vicory against a lop-sided tag-team match IMO.
Neither campaigned in Florida and Hillary came away with more votes.
I thought only Republicans like to not count all the votes?
How do you think Florida and Michigan will vote in November if the DNC throws away their vote? Go ahead and pencil "McCain" for Florida now.
That would mean that the Democratic nominee would HAVE to win Penn. and Ohio. Lose one of those two states, and we have a Bush-by-another-name for four years.
Neither Hillary or Obama were my "horse" when this all started, but now I'm trying to decide between these two. So why doesn't Obama want to do another debate before North Carolina and Indiana votes? No moderator---strictly on the issues. Yet, he turned down Hillary's request.
This would only assist the undecided like myself.
Bill Clinton wasn't the nominee at the beginning of June and still defeated Bush Sr. Let everyone have a say in the primary---which hasn't been the case in over a decade now.
Neither will get enough delegates to clinch. Let everyone have a voice. Just my 2 cents.
If MI and FL count...
What about all the states she said didn't really count when Obama won them? She should sacrifice all of her popular votes in those states.

You know, Hillary Clinton is
You know, Hillary Clinton is the first politician I've ever had dreams about.
And in all three she's been killing people, usually by stabbing.
Bad omen, I suppose. Hopefully Obama will maintain his lead. Shame Kucinich is out...
voting - hillary rule style
ok...
first - all candidates at this point are just plain mental. no exceptions. they've all been drinking the kool-aid and now they're waxing erroneous prose trying to dazzle the sheeple. i suppose it's slightly a good thing as it is getting people out to vote, but..for those of us that actually listen...it's rather annoying at best. agreed.
second - i like this idea of state invention. i personally second a motion for the state of sedation from a comment post on myspace. west dakota..yes...there is definite potential there. humm..confusifornia? maybe.
third - i've got 2 bikes and 3 pets....there is a possibility of voting a total of 6 times in that mix if we go by hillary rules. pondering this idea......

We'll see

Hilary woes
Ok, so she won the Pennsylvania primary, she didn't win by the margin that she had hoped for, Sen. Obama didn't get beat up by the numbers, yet Sen. Clinton is claiming a huge victory? And according to the BBC News, she is also broke. Broke to the tune of $10 mil, and $5 million of that is from her own pocket, most of her big contributors have already given the maximum that the law will allow. Again according to the BBC, Sen. Clinton sent out an e-mail to the voters of Pennsylvania that if they voted for her to mail her campaign $5.00. She is spending close to a million dollars a day on her campaign, so according to her press relase that she got a $3 million bump up yesterday, which ought to keep her going until Friday. I really hate what politics has become in this country, not who is right for the job, but who can spend the most.
out of wack!
For me the probleme is that the country has changed faster than its law.
Your culture has changed faster than your peoples.
those days ,the world is way too fast for countries and civilisation to adapt.
You end uop with a country living in the 21st century with laws from the 19Th.....
The gap between peoples ,state and their gouvrenment is so big that each state should be his own country.
Immigration issues are not the same in North Dakota than California ,from texas to washington state....
wealth isn't the same from Detroit to Miami....
I am french and our country is so small that it could fit in the state of Texas.....and we have problems we can't resolve!.....
Mc Cain , Obama(my favorite) or Hilary are no matter what disconnected from the truth since patriotism who made this country isn't a value that each American respect anymore.
Everybody is too busy surviving....their everyday misery routine....
