ok, so on tonights simpsons they showed lisa and nelson as nancy and sid chopping lines
and cooking drugs in a spoon.
yes, they were lines of chocolate and cocoa in a spoon, but still, pretty racy.
or racey?
racy.
and comic book guy as the proprietor of cbgb's(comic book guys bar)was truly funny.
bart looked surprisingly good as johnny rotten, red hair and 'destroy' t-shirt and all.
but still, chopping lines and cooking drugs in a spoon(authentically rendered, makes me think that one of the animators is or should be in n.a...) at 8pm on a sunday night.
impressive.
oh, the 'secret show'(again, less of a secret as the details are public knowledge now)on tuesday
in chicago at smart bar should be fun, especially as justin and jacques and holy ghost! will be dj'ing.
do they still have a photo-booth machine at smart bar? i have vague memories of beginning a relationship

By the way, I remember Moby mentioning in the journal earlier this month about the MoveOn.org Barack Obama ad contest and I just watched and voted on some. I wasn't too impressed with most. The one with the newspaper headlines was OK and there was one with a barber in it who looked just like Moby and played like one of Moby's videos- didn't chance to look at who made it but it makes me scratch my head . . . there was one with this little girl and the shattered pieces of the globe coming together which was OK and another of some little girls on a game board of politics - very original - gave them 5 stars on that category. I know that was an old topic, but I wanted to comment.

we are doing a electronic music event in montgomery al. at the riverwalk amphitheater downtown. the city doesn't allow other people than themselfs to sell alcohol, so the funds brought in are from ticket sales only. the main reason for the event is to show a few investors that there is an electro music seen in montgomery, just no club playing our music. also if you decide to do a show here with us, we will purchase carbon offsets for all your travels as well as all power used at the event + . we are also giving a small portion of every ticket sale to the montogmery animal humane society to further awareness. if in the least bit interested please send your "rider" i think they call it that. and contact me henry s. at hsand3@excite.com or 334.354.7268

So I finally jumped on the bandwagon and made a facebook page after watching my husband have fun on it. He sent Moby a friend request and we were so excited that Moby accepted! Not wanting to be left out, and being that hubby wouldn't even know who Moby was if not for me, I went to send a request too - but it seems Moby has reset his settings so now you can't even look him up and can't link through the group cuz his name under administrator is no longer a blue link! Moby, I'm heartbroken! I already had a crappy day as it was (one of my students, little ghetto-rat bussed to that school thanks to No Child Left Behind, made me so mad I stormed out of the classroom!) I know Moby has all kinds of crazy fans and probably got sick of all the notifications, but dangit! I am an active user and commentor here, I just posted under my husband's name(Abdo) because i kept getting an error msg when I tried to be me. Thanks to the new hard drive, all is well in computer land except . . . I guess Moby has enough friends now and doesn't need any more . . . Jan

I loved your journal entry about the simpsons. I don't know where else to post this so you will see it so I am posting it under your latest journal entry.
My boyfriend's birthday is coming up May 1st and would love, love for you to come to it. I know this sounds crazy but he is the biggest fan of yours, I know you have heard this a thousand times. He writes amazing music and your a such a huge inspiration to him. I would love for you to stay with us. I am hoping you will do this please.
